Recycling & Household Waste Sites The County Council provides 14 sites for householders to dispose of their own household waste. You will need a permit to tip if you wish to use a van, commercial vehicle or trailer over 4’-6” at any of our sites. Apply online for a long term permit and find out the information we require in order to issue a short term permit.

Food Waste DigestersNew Recession Busting Prices!! Green Cones and other food digesters accept all types of food waste, including cooked food that cannot normally go into a compost bin. We are offering a number of free workshops to Leicestershire residents. Book your place to see the great range of discounted food waste digesters and compost bins on offer and get expert advice on which unit is suitable for you.

PermitsWe have written to all Long term Permit holders to advise that permits are due for renewal by the 31st October 2008. Please be aware that after your permit expires, you will not be allowed to use the site until you have received your new permit. We would therefore suggest that you complete your application as soon as possible.
