• Receipt and processing of Statutory Abnormal Load Notices for Leicestershire and Rutland (not including Leicester City)
• Advice to hauliers on routes that are being considered
• Liaison with the Police Authority/and the Department for Transport on the movement of Abnormal Loads
• Issuing and receiving notices under the New Street Works Act
