School Improvement & Performance Service

The School Improvement & Performance Service makes a major contribution to the County Council's aim of improving pupil performance. It is concerned, alongside schools, with improving teaching, learning, leadership and management, and provides support, challenge and intervention to schools. ---- Our goals for 2010: -That children and young people in Leicestershire schools make better progress than in schools in any other part of England. -That teaching and learning in our schools is always found to be imaginative, engaging and motivating. -That all leaders, managers and providers of education are recognised as excellent practitioners and contribute to the national agenda
