Road Schemes

Leicestershire County Council is responsible for a number of road improvement schemes across the County.  Funding is allocated to help meet the transport objectives set in the Leicestershire Local Tranport Plan (LTP3) .To find details on road improvement schemes planned for your area, please click on the relevant district on the map or u)se the links below.

Some roads in Leicestershire form part of the trunk road network and are managed by the Highways Agency. These include the M1, M6, M42 and M69 motorways, the A50 (North of M1 Junction 24) A453 (North of M1 Junction 23a); A1, A14, A46, A42 and A5.
