Free child entry to museums with Summer Reading Challenge

Children are encouraged to take part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge at County Council libraries and receive free admission to Snibston and Bosworth Battlefield.
The theme of this year’s challenge, which runs from 7th July to 8th September, is Story Lab - a celebration of story and the imagination.
Children receive a Story Lab model and detachable bookmark called a ‘lab tab’ when they join the challenge to read six books throughout the summer.
On presentation of a ‘lab tab’ at Snibston Discovery Museum and Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, one free child entry is permitted with one full paying adult.
Once children have completed the challenge by reading six books, they get their very own Story Lab gold medal.
For more information and details of Story Lab events being held at Leicestershire County Council libraries visit www.leics.gov.uk/storylab
