Race ace makes pitstop at transport festival

Children’s TV favourite Roary the Racing Car will make a pit-stop at Snibston’s Transport Festival on Sunday, May 13th.
The famous red racer and his driver, Big Chris, will make appearances at intervals between 10am and 5pm at the county council’s museum in Coalville.
Other attractions include classic and vintage cars, buses and motorcycles, plus a craft fair and displays by pro-freestyle BMX racer, Keelan Philips.
David Sprason, cabinet member for museums, said: Snibston is gearing up for a great transport festival this year – there’s plenty of interest for everyone.”
Tickets, which include admission to the museum, cost £7.50 for adults, £5 for children and £5.50 for concessions. Under threes are free.
