Food waste digester offer deadline approaches

The deadline to take advantage of a spring food waste digester deal is fast approaching.

Leicestershire residents have until March 31 to bag a cut price food waste digester or composter

Leicestershire Waste Partnership, which is made up of the county, district and borough councils, is selling Green Cone Food Digesters for £7.50 – but the offer of free installation will only run until the end of the month.

Other food waste digesters are also available for cut-price rates if purchased before March 31.

These include the Green Johanna, a device that can compost both garden and kitchen food waste, for £29.95 instead of £39.95

The Komp 250 Composter, a standard compost bin, can be bought  for £14.95 instead of £19.95.

The Bokashi Bin, which digests food waste, is available for £9.95 instead of £14.95.
