Pavements - Obstructions

Obstructions of the pavement can be a hazard to motorists and pedestrians, and particularly to the young, the elderly or people with disabilities. Obstructions can take many forms, and can include parked vehicles, dumped rubbish or roadworks.

Not all obstructions can be dealt with by the County Council. On a road with no marked parking restrictions, a parked vehicle obstructing the footway can only be dealt with by the police - please telephone 0116 222 2222.
