Child Protection
The safety and welfare of children, or Child Protection, means protecting children from physical, emotional or sexual abuse or neglect. - Child Protection is everybody's business.
If you're worried about any child and think they may be a victim of neglect, abuse or cruelty, contact Children's Social Care using the contact details shown below.
You can also contact the Police on 0116 222 2222.
Alternatively, talk to a teacher, health visitor or doctor who will be ready and willing to give you support, advice and information. You do not need to know everything about the child and what is happening to be worried, or feel that everything is not right.
