Local Land Charges Search

Service Description

A Local Land Charges Search is usually submitted by a solicitor to the relevant District Council when land or property is being purchased, leased or valued. The search is used to find out if there are any matters affecting the property or land.

Full CON29 local authority searches are provided by the relevant district or borough council for the property in question (see the link below called Contacts or for Leicester City the link further down this page). Further information about the Councils in Leicestershire.

Alternatively, CON29 information that relates to highways can be obtained directly from Leicestershire County Council by submitting a Local Search Enquiry (see link below).
