Service Description

The aim of the Service is to work in partnership with schools and parents to raise the achievement of minority ethnic pupils by:-

• Supporting bilingual pupils' English language development
• Ensuring equal access to the curriculum, thereby assisting minority ethnic pupils to achieve their full potential
• Devising suitable teaching materials and strategies to enhance pupils' learning
• Strengthening links between parents, schools and the community
• Promoting effective parental involvement in pupils' learning
