HIV/AIDS Support for Children

Service Description

Children infected / affected by HIV/AIDS can receive services from Leicestershire County Council through an assessment. This can include the commissioning of social care services, or provision of direct payments to meet this need. To enquire, contact your Local Office. Information and support can also be provided by Leicestershire Aids Support Service (LASS). There is also a dedicated social worker based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, for patients of that hospital.
