Keep Safe Place Scheme

A Keep Safe Place is somewhere a person can go if they feel vulnerable (upset, scared, worried, confused or distressed) and need immediate support whilst they are out in the community – usually in the town centre.

Keep Safe Places are located in shops, libraries and AGE UK shops in and around town centres, for easy access. Staff in the Keep Safe Place will offer a quiet place to sit for a short time and the use of a telephone if required.

This is a Partnership initiative which has demonstrated success in other areas across the country.
