LSRO holds over 800 statistical datasets about local communities, accessible as thematic maps or tables, as well as a wealth of professional research reports with in depth analysis.

The single data list is a catalogue of all the datasets that local government must submit to central government in a given year.  The Government publishes the list of all central departments' data requirements from local authorities.

The data.gov.uk website allows you to enter your postcode and find information about your local area using government data.

The Local Government (LG) Inform site provides a free online service allowing anyone in the sector to access, compare and analyse data and present their findings.  This intelligence can help councils and fire and rescue authorities make the right decisions about their local areas and the services they provide to residents.
