Council Partnerships

A wide range of organisations and partnerships that deliver public services in Leicestershire have come together to form the Leicestershire Local Strategic Partnership. This Partnership seeks to improve the quality of life for Leicestershire people and to improve the quality and co-ordination of public services in the County.

The Leicestershire Rural Partnership (LRP) comprises 19 diverse organisations who work together to improve the quality of life of those living and working in rural Leicestershire. It aims to deliver a better quality of service to rural areas and to use public money and other resources more effectively. The LRP includes many of the key organisations delivering services to rural Leicestershire, including Leicestershire County Council.

Connexions is a service for young people age 13-19 that offers quick access to information and advice on a wide range of topics, like choosing subjects at school or mapping out your future career options. The advisers can help you with anything which might be affecting school life, college, work or personal or family life.

Leicester Shire Promotions is the Destination Management Organisation (DMO) responsible for promoting Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to visitors and investors, based on a coordinated place marketing strategy that focuses on destination leadership and coordination, attracting investors and visitors, services for investors and visitors, and services for the tourism industry.
