The County Council makes a wide range of pre-printed information available at no cost.  More substantial printed publications such as Structure Plan documents are charged for, these are clearly indicated in the Publication Scheme.  Where information is printed off or copied to meet an enquiry the County Council reserves the right to make a reasonable copying charge.  This is most likely to occur where the document size exceeds 10 pages or where multiple copies are requested.

We have published the scheme because it is a requirement of section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The purpose of the Act is to promote greater openness by public authorities (i.e.government and other public sector organisations). It is important therefore that the scheme meets your needs.
