Citizen's Panel Past Surveys
The first Citizens’ Panel
survey was held in November 2002. Since then nearly 200 questions have been asked covering a wide range of topics. This is the archive of information we’ve collected through the Panel over the past few years, and also contains interim surveys that have been conducted pending the panel being refreshed.
- Autumn 2007 - Includes Access to NHS dentistry, Civil Parking Enforcement and School Tranport
- Interim Surveys:
- Autumn 2005 - The latest survey exploring people's views on issues to help inform the development of the Local Area Agreement. The survey covers stronger communities, safer communities and children and young people. It also sought views on health and social care services as part of a national consultation ran by the Department of Health.
- Spring 2005 - The seventh Citizens' Panel consultation focuses on public transport, access to Highway Services, Trading Standards and community involvement in the planning process.
- Autumn 2004 - Survey focusing on crime and policing issues but also some questions relating to parking restrictions and the Council's Local Transport Plan.
- Summer 2004 In May the Panel took part in a survey about living in Leicestershire and resident's quality of life.
- Spring 2004 This survey asked about attitudes to the environment including local tips, recycling, access to the countryside and satisfaction with highway services. There was also a questionnaire seeking Panel members’ views on being a member of the Panel and some questions relating to smoking in public places.
- Autumn 2003 This survey asked about libraries, museums, country parks and early years and childcare.
- Spring 2003 This survey asked about transport and school governors.
- Autumn 2002 This survey asked about living in Leicestershire, quality of life, health, access to local services and activities and contacting the Council. The survey was also used to collect information about the Panel members to ensure that their views broadly reflect the views of the people living in Leicestershire generally.
