Equality and Diversity Strategy

The Council is committed to the promotion of equality and elimination of discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation and to meeting its legislative duties.  This strategy incorporates the requirement to produce a Race Equality Scheme and makes reference to our Disability and Gender Equality Schemes, which will be integrated into this Strategy as part of their review.
