- Disabled car parking spaces are available at the entrance to Main Reception
- "Do You Need Some Extra Help" Cards are now available at Main Reception and the County Hall Service Shop. These are designed to help and support customers when visiting the Council.
- Hearing Loops are activated at both Main Reception and the County Hall Service Shop
- Language Line - Spoken language interpretation is available via telephone
- Low Counters are available at both Main Reception and the County Hall Service Shop
- Portable hearing loops available (may require prior booking)
- Provisions can be made for visitors with visual impairments
- Quiet area and desks are available for interviews or private conversations.
- Staff assistance is available for customers with a disability
- Staff who have attended Deaf Awareness Training
- Staff who have attended training and those who hold qualifications in Equality and Diversity
- Staff who have attended Sensory Awareness Training
- Staff who can sign using British Sign Language are available during office hours
- We have a Disability Equality Officer in post within the Council
