Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutalnd Sturcture Plan

Copies of the Consultation Draft Structure Plan can be seen at all public libraries in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland, Service Shops and Help Points, County Hall, Leicester City Council Customer Service Centre, Rutland County Council offices and District Council Planning offices.

Copies of the Plan are available to buy priced £10 (£5 for residents) and are also available on audio tape. A summary leaflet is also available in large print. If you want a copy of the Plan or need further information please contact:

The Deposit Draft Version of the Structure Plan is expected in Spring 1999. There will be a further opportunity to comment on the Plan at this stage.

The Three Councils will considered comments on the Consultation Draft Structure Plan and where appropriate changed the Plan before it is placed 'on deposit', when there was an opportunity to formally object to or make other representations of support on the Plan. The main issues of contention were examined in front of an independent panel of experts at an Examination in Public.
