What is a Standing List?

From time to time, we will place advertisements seeking applications from organisations to be included on a standing list. This list contains details of organisations qualified to undertake specific types of work, such a building/civil engineering type contracts. Applicants are required to complete a standing list application form, which enables us to evaluate the following:
  • Evidence of technical ability
  • Capacity to do the work
  • Financial standing
  • Insurances and references
  • Compliance with legislation e.g. health & safety
If you want to find out how to get on a standing list, then please contact the procurement officers as detailed in "How do we buy?".
