Summary Statement of AccountsThis document sets out the un-audited Summary Accounts of the Authority for 2004/05. The Summary accounts have been produced in line with various regulations that govern local authority accounting. They show a simplified version of the un-audited accounts which are easier to understand.
The Cost of Council Services 2004/05The Revenue Account below presents the cost of running Council Services between 1st April 2004 and 31st March 2005, and where the money came from to finance those costs.
![]() ![]() What the Council owns and is owed as at 31st March 2005The Council has to maintain a prudent level of General Reserves, which equates to between £5.5m and £7.5m. This is reviewed in the light of the overall financial environment. The balance is currently £6.3m.
