Disabled Facilities GrantsWhat works can be carried out ?You have a right to apply for a Disabled
Facilities Grant for certain works (called eligible works) if there is a registered or registerable
disabled person living in your home. Eligible works can be summarised as works
necessary and appropriate for the disabled person, for example
The Council will only offer mandatory grants
for the above works if the scheme is reasonable and practical. A Council may
also offer discretionary grants for other works. You need to contact your local council for more information
