Disabled Facilities GrantsWho do you need to contact to apply for a grant ?There are 7 local councils in Leicestershire
who provide disabled facilities grants these are:-
Most
councils will ask you to contact your local Social Care office before you apply
for a grant. They
employ Occupational Therapists who are qualified to give you advice on how best to overcome your difficulties.
They will need to visit you in your home and may if appropriate/necessary, request to communicate with
your doctor, hospital Occupational Therapist etc depending on your circumstances.
