Claiming Attendance Allowance

Attendance Allowance is a benefit for people aged 65 or over who have a physical or mental health problem and need help or supervision with personal care, for example, dressing or washing.

If you think you or someone you know might qualify for Attendance Allowance, please print off and fill in this Attendance Allowance Enquiry Form (PDF) and post it to the Local Pension Service using this Freepost address -

This is a Freepost address, you do not need to put a postage stamp on the envelope.

Someone from the Local Pension Service will then contact you to discuss your enquiry and they may arrange a visit to fill in any necessary forms.

If you can not print or would prefer to receive a copy of the leaflet through the post, please email Adult Social Care or call us on 0116 305 7404 and we will arrange to post a leaflet to you.
