Making sure you get the right help

Leicestershire County Council
We will try to provide you with the right amount of support, when you need it.
To find out the best way to help you. A worker can visit to talk with you about what help you need. This is called an assessment.
The worker will also check to see if you are eligible.  Eligible means that you can get support from the Council.

We will :
  • try to provide services that meet your needs

  • listen to what you want to do

  • work together to find new ways of making your service better

  • help you to do more for yourself

  • support you to use services and activities in the community

We work with other people to make sure that you get the services that you need, and to try to support you to be able to live the life that you want to. We can help you to find out about the services our partners give.
