Supporting People

Range of Support
Supporting People covers a wide range of housing with support, i.e. support given to a person to help them maintain a tenancy and live independently in the community, for example:
  • Developing domestic/life skills
  • Developing social skills
  • Help in establishing social contacts and activities
  • Advice, advocacy and liaison
  • Help in managing finances and benefit claims
  • Help in gaining access to other services
  • Help finding other accommodation
  • Help in establishing personal safety and security
  • Supervision and monitoring of health and well-being
  • Supervising or monitoring medication
  • Provision of community or social alarms
  • Help maintaining the safety and security of the dwelling
  • Advice and support on repair work/home improvement work
