Supporting People

Range of Support

Supporting People covers a wide range of housing with support, i.e. support given to a person to help them maintain a tenancy and live independently in the community, for example:

Developing domestic/life skills
Developing social skills
Help in establishing social contacts and activities
Advice, advocacy and liaison
Help in managing finances and benefit claims
Help in gaining access to other services
Help finding other accommodation
Help in establishing personal safety and security
Supervision and monitoring of health and well-being
Supervising or monitoring medication
Provision of community or social alarms
Help maintaining the safety and security of the dwelling
Advice and support on repair work/home improvement work
