The County Council and Social Care Services are committed to consulting the public, service users, partners and other interested groups as part of providing effective services that meet the needs of the people of Leicestershire.

Consultation is essentially about two-way communication. It's about involving people to gain an understanding of their ideas, concerns and opinions. By seeking your views and then acting on the results, we can ensure that the services better reflect your needs and aspirations.

Research is essential for successfully developing effective health and social care services. To ensure that any research improves to existing knowledge and is of a high quality it must be carried out in line with the Research Governance Framework (RGF).
