Service Users Who are Not Ordinarily Resident within this Authority

Where services are provided to people who are not ordinarily resident in Leicestershire, the ‘home’ authority is charged the full cost of providing these services. In addition to residential care, this also includes day care services.

Residential Care   
Older Persons Homes £490.00 per week
Homes for Adults with Learning Disabilities £903.00 per week
Ashcroft Hostel for People with Mental Health Problems £861.00 per week
The maximum charge for care in Independent Homes is based on the home’s own charges and the range of services provided (disabled, older people, etc). For basic needs, they can range from approx. £282.00 to £396.00 per week, with additional charges for individuals’ special needs.
