Leicestershire's Annual Performance Assessment (APA) on Children's Services

The Annual Performance Assessment is a way in which Local Authorities evaluate their performance and report on the five Every Child Matters outcomes for children in their area.
The Assessment makes judgements about the council’s Children’s Services and the specific contributions they make to improving outcomes for children and young people and the council’s capacity to further improve these services.
If you would like to know more information about the Annual Performance Assesment process please go to www.ofsted.gov.uk/childrenandyoungpeople

Leicestershire's Joint Area Review (JAR) of Children's Services

The Joint Area Review is an inspection of all children's services within a local area. It assesses and judges the contributions made by public services to sustaining and improving outcomes for local children and young people.
