Directory of Advocacy Services

The Directory contains a range of information about organisations that provide independent advocacy services.
It is designed as a central reference point for workers and volunteers in the statutory and voluntary sector, showing them what advocacy services are available for the clients and families they are working with. It is hoped that this will lead to more people being informed about advocacy services and having the choice to access support if they so wish.
Organisations listed in this directory are able to provide advocacy support to a wide range of client groups including:
  • Adults with learning difficulties
  • Adults with disabilities (physical & or sensory)
  • People who experience mental ill-health
  • Older People
  • Children and young people with disabilities (physical & or sensory) and/or learning difficulties
  • Carers
  • Young Carers
Contact details for these and other organisations can be found in the Directory of Advocacy Services on the CVS Community Partnership website.
Also see the Carers Advocacy page on this website for more details.
Age Concern (Leicestershire and Rutland) also offer an Advocacy Scheme for people in Residential and Nursing Homes.
