Festive fun in Leicestershire

Leicestershire is getting festive with plenty for visitors to see and do to get into the Christmas spirit!
Visitors can take their pick from festive entertainment, theatre and pantomime, Christmas shopping with a difference, seasonal craft activities, readings, storytelling, talks, carols and much more including:
  • Transform insideOut - a magnificent sound and light show for all the family at Snibston Discovery Museum, Friday 2nd & Saturday 3rd December.  £3/ £4* under 3s free.
  • Sleeping Beauty at the Century Theatre, Wednesday 7th- Friday 9th December. Matinees £6/£8*, evening £8/£10*.
  • Little Red Robin Hood at the Century Theatre, Saturday 17th December. £5, family £17.
  • A Victorian Christmas at the Century Theatre, Sunday 18th December.  £6/£8*, family £22/£30*.

  • Christmastide at The Battlefield - a festive evening in a unique setting - Wednesday 7th December, 7pm & 8pm. £8.50.
  • Holly Wreath Workshops at Snibston Discovery Museum Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th December, 11am-1pm & 2-4pm.  £17.
  • Weekday Christmas Lunches at Beaumanor Hall until 21st December, 12noon-2pm. £14.95.
  • Galliarda Early Music Concert at Donington le Heath Manor House, Friday 2nd   December. £12.
  • Christmas at the Medieval Manor Donington le Heath Manor House, Sunday 4th December, 11am-4pm. Free
  • Medieval Christmas Banquet Classics at Donington le Heath Manor House, Thursday 15th December, 7.30pm. £35.
  • Seasonal readings, storytelling, talks and carols in various County Libraries. Children’s festive crafts in County Libraries & Must See Museums.

  • Late night shopping with Victorian characters at Harborough Museum, Friday 2nd December, 6-9pm. Free.
