Drama production takes visitors through a condensed history of Britain
An entertaining drama performance that takes the audience through a whistle stop
tour of 8,000 years of British history is taking place next week.
The show
entitled, ‘A Condensed History of Britain’ is by Greg Chapman and will be on at the Century Theatre
at Snibston Discovery Museum in Coalville on Friday 16th September.
From around
6500-6000 BC when the land bridge that once linked Britain to Europe finally disappeared under the sea
for the last time, right up to the present day, Greg takes the audience on a whistle stop tour of the
history of our island, packing over 8,000 years into an hour and a half!
Using
comedy, magic, music and a couple of characters along the way, this is a night of entertainment during
which members of the audience might just learn something. (Advanced booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are priced at £6 in advance and £8 at the door).
