Examining questions such as why we buy and wear clothes, the impact fashions have on body shapes and what our clothes are made from, this is the largest fashion display outside London. The displays are supported with specially designed interactive exhibits including a unique database of information about training for a career in fashion.

Featuring clothing by fashion designers John Galliano for Dior, Alexander McQueen, Ossie Clarke, Mary Quant, Paul Smith, Vivienne Westwood and Zandra Rhodes, most of the fashion collection has been donated by Leicestershire’s residents.
