Jinx By Meg Cabot Comments from Readers: It sounds romantic and looks good. It may help you with your problems too Natasha - 13 Jinx is one of those books that the minute you pick it up, you just can't put it down. At first I thought it was going to be boring because the first chapter isn't all that exciting but when you read it further and further, you realise it can only get better!!!! x Holly - Feb 2009 |

Phantom of the Opera By Gaston Leroux Check the catalogue to find out what this book is about and where to find it. Comments from Readers: This book is based in late 19th century Paris and is based on true events that happened in the "Opera Populaire". It's all about a young soprano singer who captures the interest of the elusive Opera Ghost who becomes her Angel of Music. Later on in the novel you find out that the Opera Ghost or the Angel of Music are really just a poor disfigured gentleman with a horrific past. As you go through the novel passion, romance and horror keep your eyes glued to the page, making you wonder if the Opera Ghost will win the girl or if Christine's (the young soprano) childhood sweetheart Raoul will steal her away It's a gripping read with many twists and turns along the way and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror or romance.
