IT / Go-On
Libraries offer free computer taster sessions which introduce the basics and how to use the internet and email. Ask at your library for details. Register with Go-On through your library and learn more in your own time at your own pace.

Learn online
A wealth of informal learning opportunities can be found on the internet in the form of videos, online courses, factsheets and interactive sites. Funding from the Learning Revolution Transformation Fund enabled the research of online learning opportunities on a wide range of topics, including languages, hobbies and crafts, music, fitness and sports, health and wellbeing, to mention a few.   Learn Online Spreadsheet

Multi-Access Centres
All Leicestershire lilbraries are Multi-Access Centres supporting people back into work through information, advice and guidance, help with CV writing and preparing for interviews, and access to training opportunities to improve or gain new skills.

Online Reference Library
The Library Service subscribes to a host of online resources that you can use in the library or from home. For example, KnowUK and Oxford Reference Online both offer over 400 ebooks covering a wide range of subjects. Explore these free resources. If you need help with any of these online resources then ask library staff or use the help guides.
