What is the LGBT Group?
The group offers support to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workers employed by Leicestershire County Council.
The group aims to make a positive contribution to the improvement of services, to thecommunities we serve, and to the development of policy.

When does the group meet?
Meetings take place at County Hall bi-monthly between 3pm and 5pm, with a confidential session from 5pm - 6pm, for staff who are unable to attend during working hours. If you would like to attend at this time, please let the group know beforehand.

Who can attend?
All lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workers are welcome - regardless of grade or status.
The group has the full support of Leicestershire County Council so depending on your own work commitments you should be able to attend. Line managers have been asked to support attendance whilst taking into account the needs of the service.

The group will make every effort to ensure confidentiality for those who attend if requested.
