What is the LGBT Group?Leicestershire County Council's workers' group offers support to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender workers employed by the council.
|
Aims and objectives of the groupThe group aims to make a positive contribution to the improvement of services, to the communities we serve, and to the development of policy.
|
EventsThe LGBT group are involved in events throuout the year, both internal events such and Equality and Diversity week and external events such as Leicester Pride. In May the group held an event at County Hall to celebrate their first year of achievements.

PublicationsThere is a leaflet available which gives more details about the group. This can be downloaded or paper copies can be requested if you would like them for an event. The group also publishes a quarterly newsletter detailing news and events locally and around the world, as well as interviews with staff.
