Here at County Hall we offer the opportunity for people to Learn, Earn and Work in our Apprenticeship Scheme, either at an intermediate or advanced level. We regularly provide places in Business and Administration or Customer Services and we welcome applications for these at any time.
We do sometimes offer apprenticeships in other areas and any current vacancies are listed below.
Whilst you are on your Apprenticeship with us, you will be employed in one of the Council’s Departments working as part of a team to deliver the services of the County Council.
You will need to be self-motivated, flexible, a good communicator and willing to undertake the training course at the appropriate level.
Whilst you are on our training contract you will be paid the minimum weekly wage for 18-20 year olds, which stands at approximately £189.81 for a 37 hour week.
During your time here with us, our goal is to help you secure a permanent role within Leicestershire County Council, using our Apprenticeship Scheme you can do just that, while learning the skills of the job, and gaining the qualification to prove it.
We will be there every step of the way.

Subject Access Administrative Support Apprentice
We are seeking an individual to provide administrative support for the delivery of data protection - subject access requests and freedom of information requests. The successful candidate will be involved with handling data protection requests, freedom of information requests and working with personal and sensitive information. It is imperative that the person has excellent attention to detail and is able to work with personal/sensitive information in a discrete manner. They will be involved in locating, fetching, and returning files, photocopying case file information, supporting redaction of personal, sensitive information, preparing completed files for delivery and consolidating information in one place.
