Highway Forums

Local Highway Forums are joint discussion forums involving County and District Councillors.  The representatives bring local knowledge and experience to the forum and advise and influence local highway and transportation issues.

Highway Forum meetings update strategic highway matters in a local context, consider petitions relating to local highway issues and provide updates on all planned highway works.

The public are encouraged and welcome to attend the meetings.  At the Chairperson’s discretion anyone can speak on items from the published agenda, if this is arranged in advance either by telephoning 0116 305 0001 or by arriving before the meeting.  

Five working days prior to each meeting the agenda and reports are available online.  The minutes of the meetings are also available online after the meetings.  To view the dates of meetings, meeting agendas, reports or minutes, please use the links below.
