Residents Parking

There are a number of Residents Parking schemes which currently operate in Leicestershire

Residents Parking Schemes are usually designed to help residents park close to their homes and make it more difficult for non residents to park.  Schemes do not reserve places exclusively for permit holders but permit holders may park within any of the streets within their designated zone without restriction in the resident parking bays provided. The majority of these schemes allow non permit holders to park for a limited period of time, usually between 30 minutes and two hours.  In general, the schemes only operate during the working day.
