School Crossing Patrol Spotlight

Two sisters from Ibstock are featured in the School Crossing Patrol spotlight.
Shirley and Judith Storer have both been donning their uniforms at Ibstock Junior and Ellistown Primary Schools for over a year now.
Not only are Shirley and Judith sisters, but they are famed to be amongst the County’s youngest patrols aged only 28 and 34 (respectively).
Both ladies thoroughly enjoy the job and the interaction with the children and the community that it brings.
Ibstock and Ellistown Schools also welcome their happy faces every morning!
School Crossing Patrols (or ‘Lollipop people’ as they are affectionately known) help to make the roads around County schools safer for children and their families to cross.
Anyone interested in a post should call 0116 305 6515 for more details.
