Description: LCC: Cycleway improvements/construction, kerbing and drainage works and carriageway resurfacing: There will be temporary off-peak two-way traffic signals and a lane closure in operation. The road will be closed between The Dicken, Whetstone and Riverside Way, Littlethorpe for approximately 16 weeks from 16 November 2008. The alternative route available during the closure will be via Grove Road, Whetstone; A426 Blaby By-Pass, Enderby Road, Blaby Road, Leicester Road, Enderby; King Edward Avenue, Narborough; Desford Road, Coventry Road, Station Road, Riverside Way, Littlethorpe and vice versa.

Description: BLABY PARISH COUNCIL: Christmas Lights switch on: The roads will be closed at Forge Corner from 2000 hours on Thursday 4th December until 0400 hours on Sunday 7th December. The alternative route available will be via Blaby By-Pass, Leicester Road and vice versa. For traffic entering from the south the alternative route will be via Lutterworth Road, Western Drive, Welford Road, Sycamore Street and vice versa. Enderby Road will not be open to traffic except to gain access to the car parks.
