B582 Wigston : Blaby Road / Saffron Road / Countesthorpe Road Road Junction ImprovementROAD DIVERSION INFORMATIONWorks on this scheme commenced on Monday 4th January 2010 and are expected to be completed in the week commencing Monday 26th April 2010.The construction of the scheme will inevitably create significant disruption to those travelling along the B582 route through Wigston and local residents / businesses. ConsultationScheme consultation was undertaken during Spring 2009 which included residents / businesses close to the existing mini roundabouts and other statutory consultees.The scheme was approved for construction by the Director of the Environment and Transport Department and Lead Member for Highways on the 27th July 2009.
