Consultation Ends
Between November 2008 and January 2009, a consultation took place showing a package of measures to improve the streetscape for both residents and visitors to the area. Residents were asked to have their say on their views to the proposed improvements for Narborough Road South.
In total, over 1,200 leaflets and questionnaires were distributed. 173 completed questionnaires were received from residents of Narborough Road South and the surrounding area.  95% of these agreed that Narborough Road South is in need of improvements. Over 70% of respondents supported the measures as proposed and rated the fence replacement a higher priority than the introduction of green spaces, though both measures gained overall support.
