The two sets of road improvements along the B582 Enderby Road in Whetstone, which form the first phase of schemes totaling £1.5m are now complete.

Road users travelling along the B582 Enderby Road in Whetstone are now reaping the benefits of changes to the road layout which required months of road works to complete.

New traffic signals at the Transfer Station junction are helping drivers to make their turning movements safe in the knowledge that gaps in the traffic will be provided. Pedestrians and cyclists also have their own times to cross the busy B582 road at a Toucan crossing. Using the junction is a much less stressful experience.

In addition, works to help traffic move along the B582 in Whetstone at the Grange Business Park junction, Victoria Road cross roads and Trinity Road junction have been completed.
