Scheme History

Works at the Foxhunter Roundabout started on the 12 January 2009. So far the work has been carried out using the existing traffic signals with off peak lane closures.

On Saturday 28 February 2009 the existing traffic signals will be switched off and replaced with temporary signals. These will remain in place until works are completed later in a few months time.

We apologise for any inconvenience arising whilst these signals are being installed, though this installation should be complete by late Sunday afternoon, 1 March 2009.

It is not possible to provide a specific pedestrian crossing phase in the temporary signals. However, lane widths will be narrowed to help slow traffic and assist pedestrians to cross the road. Please take extra care whilst crossing during the works.
