July 2010 – Fence work to start
Works started on the 26 July 2010, and is being carried out by Leicestershire Highways.
Main activities
- installing temporary barriers between 2 Narborough Road Service Road and Colbert Drive on the route towards Fosse Park
- installing temporary barriers between Lubbersthorpe Road and Edward Avenue on the route towards the City
- Overnight road closures will be required on 26th and 27th of July.

- The old fence will be replaced 2 Narborough Road Service Road and Colbert Drive on the route towards Fosse Park
