Local walking improvement scheme - Proposed zebra & speed cushions

Background

To assist school children and local residents crossing in the vicinity of Countesthorpe Community College it is proposed to install a zebra crossing with a set of speed cushions either side of the crossing. This is similar to the scheme recently introduced near to the entrance to Leysland High School. The speed cushions are being introduced to ensure acceptable vehicle speeds  on both approaches to the zebra crossing.
