Seasonal Timetable / Route Changes

Service 47 / 48
Service Disruption
The junction of Bushloe End/Launceston Road Wigston will close for Roadworks from 1830 Saturday 6th March and all day Sunday 7th March 2010.
Service 47 will operate normal route to South Wigston, proceed past Tesco's and turn left into Pullman Road, right into West Avenue, left into Holmden Avenue, right into Aylestone Lane, right into Long Street, left at Island into Moat Street and pick up normal route from Horsewell Lane.
Service 48 will operate normal route to Wigston Magna and turn right into Moat Street, continue straight on instead of turning into Horsewell Lane, turn right into Long Street, left into Aylestone Lane, left into Holmden Avenue, right into West Avenue, left into Pullman Road and pick up normal route from Blaby Road / Station Road.
Services will return to normal once the road re opens.

Service 148
Service Disruption
Passengers are advised that on Saturday, 27th February 2010 and Saturday 6th March 2010 Desford Road – Enderby (from Beggar’s Lane to the junction of Warren Park Way) will be closed to enable highway improvement works and carriageway resurfacing.
During this time the service will be diverted along:
From Grove Park: Leicester Lane, Blaby Road, Co-operation Street, King Street, Shortridge Lane, George Street, Coleridge Drive, Kiplin Drive, Stewart Avenue, Forest Road, Thurlaston Lane.
From Thurlaston: Thurlaston Lane, Forest Road, Stewart Avenue, Kiplin Drive, Coleridge Drive, Equity Road, Federation Street, Shortridge Lane, King Street, Co-operation Street, Blaby Road, Leicester Lane.
The disruption to passengers will be as follows:
Enderby – Stops at the Aspect At The Plough and at Beggar’s Lane will not be served due to the service being routed via Co-operation Street.  Passengers affected should access the service at stops along the diversion route.

Service 2
Service Disruption
Passengers are advised that on Sunday, 7th March 2010 the junction of Station Road and Stoop Lane in Quorn will be closed in order for carriageway patching to be carried out.
During this time the service will be diverted along:
From Leicester to Loughborough: There will be no impact on services travelling from Leicester to Loughborough.
From Loughborough to Barrow and on to Leicester: Loughborough Road, High Street, Leicester Road, Granite Way, A6, A6 Service Road, Barrow Road, and then the usual route
The disruption to passengers will be as follows:
Quorn – For services travelling towards Barrow stops on Station Road, Soar Road and Meynell Road will not be served.  Passenger wishing to access the service should access the service at stops on Loughborough Road or High Street.

Service 36
Service Disruption
Passengers are advised that from Monday, 1st March 2010 until Friday 19th March 2010 (inclusive) Spinney Hill Road (at the junction with Humberstone Road) will be closed to traffic wishing to turn right from Humberstone Road to enable highway improvement works and carriageway resurfacing.
During this time the service will be diverted along:
From Leicester: Humberstone Road, St Barnabas Road, East Park Road, and then the usual route.
From Evington: There will be no impact on services travelling from Evington to Leicester.
The disruption to passengers will be as follows:
Spinney Hill Road – Stops on Spinney Hill Road and Green Lane Road will not be served due to the service being routed via St Barnabas Road.  Passengers should access the service on Humberstone Road or East Park Road.

Service 100 / 128
Change of Route
Passengers are advised that from 25th February 2010 there will be alterations to the routes of Service 100 and 128.
Leicester: Services 100 and 128 will be travelling via the Belgrave Flyover on journeys to and from Leicester.  Passengers wishing to access the services should do so at stops either before or after the flyover.
Leicester:  Services 100 and 128 will no longer be serving the stop on Belgrave Gate opposite Orchard Street when travelling into Leicester.
Melton:  Service 100 will no longer be serving the stops on Dalby Road at St Francis RC Primary because the service will now be routed via Warwick Road, Ankle Hill and Burton Road.  Passengers wishing to access the service should do so at stops on Dalby Road near Hamilton Drive.
Melton:  Service 100 will no longer be serving the stop at Wilton Road Coach Park.  This is because the service will now be routed via Warwick Road, Ankle Hill and Burton Road.  Passengers wishing to access the service can do so at stops on Burton Road at The Crown Inn.

Service 73
Road Closure - Halford Street and Rutland Street, Leicester City Centre
Please note that due to the repairs of the BT Chambers on Halford Street and Rutland Street in Leicester City Centre, Service 73 will follow a diversion route from Sunday, February 21st - Sunday, April 4th 2010.
The inbound diversion route will be: Bowling Green Street, Bishop Street, right into Granby Street, left into Rutland Street and left into Charles Street.
The outbound diversion route will be: Charles Street, turn right into Northampton Street, right into Granby Street and left into Belvoir Street.  As a result the stop on Rutland Street cannot be served.

Service 148
Road Closure - Huncote Road, Stoney Stanton
From February 1st 2010 for up to 9 months, Service 148 will operate a revised timetable and route due to the closure of Huncote Road, Stoney Stanton, for bridgeworks.
In Leicester, the bus will not serve the stops on the Narborough Road service road.
The bus will not serve Huncote Road, Stoney Stanton.  A shuttle service will be provided to connect with Service 148 in the centre of the village.
The bus will not serve Potters Marston.  A bookable shuttle service will connect to Service 148 in Thurlaston.
Sharnford - Service 148 will operate one return journey to Leicester, departing at 0737 and returning from the city at 1750.  A shuttle service will be provided during the day to connect with Service 148 in Sapcote.
